Hybrid Therapy Plans

Monthly Session + AI Companion
For Adults

Therapeutic progress doesn't stop when the session ends. For many adults, weekly therapy isn't necessary,  but breaks between appointments can make it harder to maintain momentum, practice new skills, or get timely support when challenges arise.

Our Hybrid Therapy Plans offer a balanced approach: one session per month with your therapist, combined with daily access to your therapy companion. Between sessions, you receive support for tracking your progress, emotion awareness, reflection, and session scheduling. All the while, your therapist stays informed through regular check-ins.

This hybrid model is designed for adults who are not experiencing severe symptoms but want to maintain therapeutic connection, continue building skills, or access affordable ongoing support with expert clinical oversight.

Sessions are delivered virtually, with limited in-person availability.

Is This For Me?

The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.— Carl Rogers

This plan is ideal if you've made progress in therapy and want to maintain that growth without the intensity or cost of weekly sessions. Maybe you've developed a strong foundation of skills and would benefit from ongoing practice and accountability. Or perhaps you're looking for a more accessible entry point into therapeutic support—one that keeps you connected to an expert clinician while giving you daily insight to navigate life's challenges.

Our Hybrid Therapy Plans work best for adults who aren’t in crisis and recognize the value of continued touchpoints with a TL therapist.

Common indicators for this plan include:

  • You're seeking more affordable ongoing support
  • You're managing symptoms effectively but benefit from periodic clinical input
  • You want to continue learning and practicing therapeutic skills
  • Weekly therapy feels like more than you need right now
  • You've completed a therapy plan and want to maintain progress

  • You want accountability and structure for skill-building between sessions
  • You're motivated to engage with therapeutic tools independently

What to Expect at Therapy Lab

This plan combines the best of both worlds: the expertise and personalization of human therapeutic care with the accessibility and consistency of personalized support with AI.

Once a month, you'll meet with your therapist for a full session. This is your time to reflect on progress, address any concerns, set goals, and receive personalized clinical guidance. Your therapist will review insights from your interactions to inform the session and ensure continuity of care.

Between sessions, your companion is available 24/7 to help you:

  • Practice therapy goals and report on your experience  in real-time
  • Track your mood and identify patterns
  • Reflect on challenging situations
  • Schedule your next appointment
  • Access psychoeducation and coping strategies

Between your monthly sessions, your therapist checks in on how things are going. They'll send you a message to acknowledge your progress and may offer insights or encouragement based on what they're seeing. This ongoing connection means you're never truly "on your own"—your therapist is in the loop.

Therapy Lab clinicians hold advanced degrees in clinical psychology, clinical child psychology, and related science-based clinical practices. They receive ongoing training in evidence-based approaches and work collaboratively with Sage to extend the reach and impact of quality mental health care.
