Dr. Thanh Le is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides evidence-based therapy for adults navigating anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, depression, adjustment challenges related to health and life transitions, and other emotional stressors. He enjoys working with clients who are ready for practical tools to manage overwhelming thoughts and emotions — and who want to build real confidence in their daily lives.
Dr. Le takes a cognitive-behavioral, skills-based approach, helping clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact. He integrates mindfulness and acceptance-based strategies alongside practical skills like grounding, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation. For anxiety, he uses exposure-based techniques to help clients gradually face fears and reduce avoidance. While his approach is often skills-focused, he also believes in thoughtfully exploring past experiences when they continue to shape how someone feels, thinks, or relates to others today.
With experience across outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), partial hospitalization (PHP), and inpatient settings, Dr. Le is equipped to support individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including bipolar disorder, psychosis, and severe depression.
Dr. Le earned his PhD in Clinical Psychology from Louisiana State University and completed his clinical residency and fellowship at the UCLA Department of Psychiatry and the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, exploring new restaurants around Los Angeles, and cheering on the Clippers.
